ccApp stands for Common Client Application and is part of Norton's AntiVirus software.
A number of people have reported this as giving problems, especially with error messages such as "ccApp.exe is not responding" during computer restart or shutdown. This is most likely caused by Norton AntiVirus trying to scan floppy drives on shutdown.
Firsly, run LiveUpdate and ensure you have the latest versions of any Norton software. Then, open Norton AntiVirus and click Options. Find the Auto-Protect option and click Advanced.
Untick the Scan floppy disc in A: for boot viruses when shutting down
Click OK
