Q7.1)	Can I store email addresses in !Hotlist?

Q7.1) Can I store email addresses in !Hotlist?

Yes, please see page 10-6 of the manual for information on doing this.

Q7.2) Can I import !Marcel's address book into !Hotlist?

Yes, to do this, drag the !MarcelDir.Files.aliases file onto the !Hotlist window.

Q7.3) What types of URL can I store in !Hotlist?

Almost all types. !Hotlist can recognise URLs from their format and if it has an icon corresponding to the type of URL added it'll use it in the HotList links window. An example of this can be seen in Section 10.1 of the manual.

The current list of URL schemes for which !Hotlist has icons are:

file://
finger://
ftp://
gopher://
http://
mailto:
news:
telnet://

You can also add URLs using schemes !Hotlist doesn't currently recognise, e.g. rlogin://, the only difference being that !Hotlist will display a generic '?' icon instead.

Q7.4) I have several email addresses in !Hotlist and would like to be able to send a message to them all, can I make !Hotlist open a Send mail window containing all of these names?

Yes, select the names of those to whom you wish to send a message and press the TAB key.

Q7.5) I've deleted something from my hotlist that I did not mean to, can I get it back?

Before Hotlist saves its file back to disc, it makes a copy of the existing hotlist called Hotlist~. This file can be found inside the !InetSuite.Internet.Files directory. Open this directory and rename Hotlist~ to Hotlist.

Now either click on the !Hotlist Reload button or quit and reload !Hotlist.
