Genuine scientists throughout the world are fighting powerful, establishment forces in order to present exciting discoveries in subatomic physics to the general public. Most people are familiar with the incredible lengths that priests will go to in order to defend their supernatural beliefs from any intellectual analysis in the press and on the air waves.
Even those outside the Spiritualist movement now know that the Archbishop of Canterbury suppressed the results of his own Church of England report into life after death in 1939. However, not many people realise that so-called orthodox scientists have joined forces with the priests in an unholy alliance in order to make sure a third very important philosophical point of view never receives any publicity:
1. When you're dead, you're dead. The materialist's case for the mind dying with the brain, as put forward by the parapsychologists and orthodox science throughout the world.
2. Resting in peace in the ground waiting for the Christian saviour god to come on judgement day. Only believers in this god stand any chance of survival, all the rest will rot in hell forever.
3. The mind and brain are separate; We all survive death, backed up by crushing scientific proof. This is the secularists' - non religious - case that says we are immediately reunited with our loved ones who have gone before us.
What has made scientists so angry at the vicious attacks that have been made against Sir William Crookes is not so much that they are a pack of lies, but the fact that the people have only been allowed to hear the case against the scientific experiments that Sir William carried out at the end of last century, never the case for his reports that appeared in "The Quarterly Journal of Science" in 1874. The Roman Catholic writer and self-styled expert on the paranormal, Ian Wilson, was invited twice to broadcast on Brunel Radio in Bristol to rubbish Sir William Crookes and mediumship in general. Remember Wilson? He was the fellow who waited for Doris Stokes to die before he had the courage to accuse her of fraud in a blaze of publicity. I was refused permission to give a balance to this character assassination of Brunel Radio.
I have in front of me a book called "The Follies and Frauds of Spiritualism". It is the usual hatchet job, this time by a materialist called Walter Mann. However, one thing about this book is very significant, it was published in 1919, the year that Sir William Crookes died!
These professional wreckers, who have so much to lose if the masses ever find out the truth, know very well that the only way to destroy the reputations of scientists and popular mediums such as Doris Stokes is to make their attacks as soon as their targets die, safe in the knowledge that only their fabricated lies will receive the publicity. It was Walter Mann who first floated the diabolical lie that Sir William Crookes was sexually involved with the medium that he worked with. The tragedy is that it is the opinion of this unqualified nonentity that just about every so-called expert on the paranormal has taken as the correct version. Not the conclusions of one of the greatest and most highly qualified scientists that our country has ever produced - the holder of the Royal decoration of The Order of Merit, and President of The Royal Society. I even have a letter from the Editor of a magazine on the paranormal saying that it is the opinion amongst knowledgeable students of the subject that Crookes was sexually infatuated with the object of his experiments.
It is not only scientists who are on the receiving end of this monumental conspiracy to deceive the general public. Our Royal Family has come under the same attack. Because Queen Victoria made it her business to find a first class medium in order to make contact with her husband when he passed to the etheric wavelengths, she had received exactly the same treatment as Sir William Crookes. Very nasty, influential people spreading lies that the Queen was having an affair with the medium - her gillie, John Brown.
Our Prince of Wales also came under attack for daring to make a study of life after death. Thankfully, Prince Charles sent the whole shooting-match diving for cover when he made it clear in his television interview with Sir Alistair Burnett that he was reading the subject as a branch of physics - natural philosophy, the work of Arthur Koestler.
Have you noticed that very little has been said about the Prince and his interest in the paranormal since this interview? This is because the forces ranged against the people know they are finished if the physicists' and rationalists' case for survival ever gets any publicity. The only defence against uncomfortable discoveries in physics is to suppress them, not have them out in the open for discussion on the air waves and in the press.

Get these things out in the open, describe them, attack them, ridicule them in the press, and sooner or later public opinion will sweep them away. It will be a good thing if these contemporary inquisitors manage to bottle up these exciting discoveries in subatomic physics that belong to the people for a few more months. Suppressing the truth is like a pressure cooker with a broken safety valve. Very shortly there is going to be such an explosion that the establishment forces will not know what hit them. It will make the collapse of the Berlin Wall look like a very small beer indeed.

Editors of large circulation papers and magazines would not dare to present these facts to their readers. The employees in the publicity industry are not corrupt, but they all have one thing in common, they are frightened of their paymasters. eg. Robert Maxwell, ask anybody who worked for this tyrant - a senior officer in The British Thought Police Force.

This is the true history of mankind, totally different to the pack of lies that we have been taught at school in a country where the Church and state is established. This passage sums up just how badly the British people have been deceived:
"Such, however, is still it's influence (The Church) that this book, which tells the story of the past honestly and fearlessly, will be kept out of our schools and universities by the authorities, and consequently only in later life will those with enquiring minds discover the truth."
We have been taught that historical, homicidal maniacs are good guys, solely because they were carrying out genocide against non Christians. The word crusade is even synonymous with a good cause. Whenever one of these arch criminals steps onto the world stage, Findlay deals with them in the correct manner. The pages of this book flow with the sublime philosophy of Thomas Paine - "The world is my country, to do good is my religion". Findlay finishes with a call to the people of this world to throw off the shackles of priestcraft; to make a choice between two paths:
"One is the Secular way (non religious) and the other is the Theological (religious); one is the Democratic and the other the Despotic; one is the sane and the other the insane."
I have just received a copy of Arthur Findlay's 'The Curse of Ignorance' myself and, although I haven't read it from cover to cover, the first chapter alone is absolutely compulsive reading. The two volumes are both over 1100 pages long and each nearly two inches thick.
This really is a monumentous work and an essential addition to any book collection. You should be able to order a copy from any good bookshop.
